The Republic of Russia has pledged its support for Nepal’s trade promotion efforts.
In a recent meeting between the Nepal-Russia Chamber of Commerce and the Trade Commissioner of Russia, Alexander L Rivas, Russia expressed its commitment to supporting Nepal’s trade promotion efforts. The meeting, which took place on Thursday afternoon, included key figures such as the President of the Nepal-Russia Chamber of Commerce, Ashok Sherchan, Counselor of the Russian Embassy in Nepal, Andrei Kiselenko, and Head of the Russian Export Center, Timur Vekilov.
During the discussion, President Sherchan emphasized Nepal’s significant potential in tourism, agriculture, energy, and business. He urged for increased investment in these sectors, highlighting the prospect of quick returns. Sherchan specifically requested support for the technology sector, underscoring the need for assistance in business promotion to further strengthen the economic ties between Nepal and Russia.
