Kathmandu – NCHL Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nileshman Singh Pradhan has said that infrastructure will play a special role in cross-border payments. Answering the questions raised in the fourth session of ‘Second Banking National Banking Discourse 2024’ on ‘Digital Ecosystem and Challenges of Cross Border Payments in Nepal’, CEO Pradhan pointed out that infrastructure plays a special role in cross border payments as well as other sectors.

He said, “The issue of how much infrastructure we have for cross-border payments is of particular importance. When we are talking about cross-border payments, we should also be clear about how capable we are in terms of infrastructure.

Krishnaram Dhunju, Director of Payment System Department of Nepal Rastra Bank, Sanjiv Subba of Fintech Alliance, Nileshman Singh Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of NCHL, Diwas Kumar Sapkota, Executive Officer of PhonePe participated in the fourth session of the discourse. The facilitator for this session is Michael Siddhi, Head of SBI Banking Operations.
