KATHMANDU – Non-life insurance companies collected a total of 41.04 billion rupees in insurance fees in the last fiscal year 2080/81. During this period, Nirjeevan Insurance Company sold 2.849 million insurance policies and collected a total insurance fee of 41.17 billion rupees.

During this period, Shikhar Insurance Company collected the highest total insurance fee of 5.47 billion rupees. Second, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance collected a total insurance fee of 4.78 billion rupees. Siddharth Premier Insurance collected a total insurance fee of 4.17 billion rupees.

Similarly, Himalayan Everest Insurance earned 3.72 billion rupees, IGI Prudential Insurance earned 3.65 billion rupees, and Neco Insurance earned 3.14 billion rupees. During the review period, United Azod Insurance collected 2.72 billion rupees, Sanima GIC collected 2.61 billion rupees, NLG Insurance Company collected 2.55 billion rupees, and Oriental Insurance collected 2.16 billion rupees.

Similarly, Prabhu Insurance collected 1.77 billion rupees, National Insurance Company collected 1.59 billion rupees, Nepal Insurance collected 1.59 billion rupees, and National Insurance collected a total of 1.19 billion rupees in insurance fees.
