Kathmandu – NIC Asia Bank has earned a profit of Rs. 4 billion 44 crore 47 lakh 79 thousand in the same period of the previous year. However, the net profit of the bank decreased by 68.91 percent last year.
Similarly, the net interest income of the bank decreased by 13.39 percent to Rs. 10 billion 61 crore 71 lakh. In the same period of the previous financial year, the bank earned Rs. 12 billion 25 crore 88 lakh in net interest income.
Likewise, the bank’s operating profit also decreased by 53.83 percent to Rs. 3 billion 18 crore 61 lakh, while the bank’s bad loans increased by 1.74 percent. By the end of June, the bank’s paid-up capital was Rs. 14 billion 91 crore 75 lakh 66 thousand, and the bank had Rs. 15 billion 25 crore in its reserve fund. The distributable profit of the bank is Rs. 2 billion 30 crore 4 lakh 59 thousand.
During the review period, the bank collected deposits of Rs. 3.54 billion and disbursed loans of Rs. 2.72 billion.
