Kathmandu – Rajan Kandel, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The British College, has been recognized as the “Managing Director of the Year” by SME News. Kandel, who is also the founder of The British College under the British Education Group, received this prestigious award as part of the ‘SME News IT Award 2024’.
SME News, a British publishing house, annually honors business leaders who drive positive change in their respective fields. This year’s award recognized individuals who have made outstanding contributions in IT solutions, data migration, and IT transformation, setting themselves apart from competitors.
Kandel was honored in the “International Education Sector” category for his role as the “Best Investing Managing Director.” Reflecting on his achievement, Kandel shared, “I started my career as an IT manager. Currently, we provide IT courses alongside other educational programs to students across four continents in partnership with some of the world’s top universities. We have also acquired Canada’s Maritime Business College. So, this award is very meaningful to me.”
This accolade highlights Kandel’s significant contributions to international education and IT, underscoring his leadership and vision in the global educational landscape.
