Kathmandu – The price of gold has reached a record high in the Nepali market on Sunday. The price of gold, which has been steadily increasing for the past few weeks, has hit its highest point today.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation, the price of hallmark gold has surged by NPR 1,700 per tola, setting a new record. Today, gold is being traded at NPR 158,800 per tola.
Previously, on August 31st, gold had reached its highest price ever, trading at NPR 157,300 per tola.
The price of silver has also seen an increase today. On Sunday, the price of silver rose by NPR 5 to reach NPR 1,920 per tola, according to the federation.
