Third Banking Discourse 2025: Suvash Jamarkattel from Machhapuchchhre Bank to Speak in Fintech & Open Banking Session


KathmanduSuvash Jamarkattel, Deputy General Manager of Machhapuchchhre Bank, is set to speak in the third session of the upcoming Third Banking Discourse 2025, to be held on Jestha 22 (June 5, 2025). The event is organized by Bankingkhabar.com.

Jamarkattel will join as a speaker in the panel titled:
“Open Banking and Fintech: Collaboration, Competition, and Regulatory Framework of Neo-Banking in Nepal.”

Having completed his SLC from a government school, Jamarkattel pursued Chartered Accountancy (CA) studies in India, spending three years in New Delhi. During his CA studies, he worked as an intern at a chartered accountancy firm, where he began his professional journey.

He officially entered the banking sector through VIOR Bikas Bank as an Assistant Manager. After some time, he joined Standard Finance and was promoted to Manager. Following the merger between Standard Finance and Machhapuchchhre Bank in 2069 BS, he has since held various departmental roles within Machhapuchchhre Bank.

The Third Banking Discourse will be inaugurated by Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, with notable figures from Nepal Rastra Bank, the private sector, and top executives from commercial and development banks participating in the opening session.

The program features:

The special session will feature a dialogue with former Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat.
