Kathmandu, Nepal – Deputy Governor Bam Bahadur Mishra has been appointed as the Acting Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) following the official overseas visit of Governor Dr. Bishwanath Paudel to Switzerland. This marks Governor Paudel’s first international visit since assuming office.

In the absence of Senior Deputy Governor Neelam Dhungana Timsina, who is currently on an official visit to Bangladesh, the Ministry of Finance has designated Mishra to carry out the responsibilities of Acting Governor.

The temporary appointment ensures continued leadership at the central bank during the absence of both the Governor and Senior Deputy Governor.
