KATHMANDU, – The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police honored the Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA) on the occasion of its 15th establishment anniversary.
The honor was presented during a special ceremony organized by the CIB to mark the milestone. The award was received by Santosh Koirala, President of the Bankers’ Association and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Machhapuchchhre Bank.
Established as a specialized unit of Nepal Police to investigate organized and serious crimes, the CIB commemorated its 15th anniversary through various programs and events.
Since its inception, the Bureau has played a critical role in investigating complex and high-profile crimes including human trafficking, financial crimes, fraud, and other serious offenses.
During the celebration, CIB also highlighted its achievements, ongoing challenges, and future plans, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening law enforcement and public safety.
