Banking News – The Chairman of the Global Business and Diaspora Committee at the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) recently held a high-level meeting with His Excellency Mr. Prakash Mani Paudel, Nepal’s Ambassador to Portugal, to strengthen bilateral cooperation and diaspora engagement.

During the meeting, both parties discussed expanding trade ties between Nepal and Portugal and leveraging diplomatic channels to enhance economic diplomacy. The discussions also emphasized the importance of attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Nepal’s priority sectors, boosting tourism, fostering cultural exchanges, and addressing issues faced by the Nepali diaspora residing in Portugal.

The Chairman expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Paudel for his valuable time, insights, and steadfast commitment to promoting Nepal’s interests abroad.
