Banking News – Nepal SBI Bank has issued a public notice requesting its shareholders to collect unclaimed cash dividends from the past five years. The bank has urged shareholders who have not yet claimed their dividends from fiscal years ranging from 2052/53 to 2075/76 BS to do so at the earliest.

According to the notice, several shareholders have yet to claim their dividends even after the legally allowed five-year period. The bank had declared a 10.84% cash dividend for FY 2075/76, which was approved during its 26th Annual General Meeting held on Mangsir 29, 2076 BS.

Nepal SBI Bank stated that the dividends have already been deposited into the updated bank accounts of the shareholders. However, due to issues such as outdated Demat account details or inactive bank accounts, some shareholders have not yet received their payments. The bank has requested such shareholders to update their accounts and claim the pending dividends.

Additionally, the bank has informed that shareholders must contact its share registrar, Nepal SBI Merchant Banking, located at Lekhnath Marg, Thamel, Kathmandu, for claiming dividends declared after FY 2075/76.
