Dubai — Representatives from the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates held a meeting with key financial institutions to explore ways to strengthen support for Filipino communities living in the United Arab Emirates.

The discussion took place during a courtesy meeting with Hon. Consul General Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III, focusing on the importance of providing reliable and secure channels for Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-IBIG Fund contributions, along with related financial services for Filipinos abroad.

The meeting was attended by the Ahalia Exchange team, led by Deputy General Manager Salman Khalid, Senior Marketing Manager Santosh Nair, Business Development Manager Amir Iqbal, and Philippines Corridor Manager Ann Salud. The discussion was further strengthened by the presence of partners from Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), led by Edilberto C. Balangue II.

Participants emphasized that such collaborative engagements play a crucial role in ensuring secure, accessible, and efficient financial services for overseas Filipinos, reinforcing financial inclusion and trust within the community.

Stakeholders noted that continued coordination between diplomatic missions and financial service providers is essential to address the evolving needs of Filipinos working abroad and to enhance the reliability of cross-border financial services.
