Dubai, UAE – The upcoming Banking, Fintech and Remittance Discourse 2026, scheduled to be held in Dubai this March, will feature prominent Nepali banker Anil Keshary Shah as the official moderator for the event.

Widely recognized as one of Nepal’s most respected banking leaders, Shah is the former Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank, one of Nepal’s leading commercial banks. Over his long banking career, he has played a key role in modernizing Nepal’s financial sector, promoting innovation, strengthening corporate governance, and expanding international banking relationships. He is known for his leadership in digital banking advancement and financial sector reforms.

Throughout his tenure, Shah was credited with driving institutional growth, improving service standards, and encouraging greater financial inclusion. His strategic vision helped position Nepali banking institutions to better align with global banking practices.

Organizers believe his presence as moderator will add strong value to the discourse, especially at a time when UAE–Nepal financial cooperation is gaining momentum. His experience is expected to enrich discussions on cross-border banking, fintech innovation, and the promotion of secure and transparent remittance channels, including the growing focus on green channel remittance systems.

The event will bring together bankers, fintech leaders, remittance companies, regulators, and policymakers from both countries, aiming to strengthen bilateral financial ties and encourage sustainable, technology-driven financial collaboration.
