Gold Price Jumps by Rs. 5,000 per Tola in a Single Day in Nepal; What Is It Trading At Now?


Banking News, Ashar 1 (June 15, 2026) : The price of gold in the Nepali market has seen a sharp rise today, increasing by Rs. 5,000 per tola in a single day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs. 298,200 per tola today. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs. 292,200 per tola, marking a significant daily surge.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased. Silver, which was traded at Rs. 4,895 per tola on Sunday, is now being bought and sold at Rs. 5,015 per tola on Monday. This reflects an increase of Rs. 120 per tola compared to the previous day.

Market observers note that the continuous rise in precious metal prices is putting additional pressure on the bullion market.
