Neurogine and CB Bank Surpass 80,000 Active Merchants in Myanmar Through n2Tap Ecosystem

Kuala Lumpur/Yangon, June 2026 — Fintech company Neurogine and Myanmar’s CB Bank PCL have achieved a major milestone, with the Neurogine n2Tap ecosystem surpassing 80,000 active merchants across Myanmar, underscoring the growing adoption of digital payments and financial inclusion in the country.

The achievement, reached in June 2026, reflects years of collaboration between the two organizations aimed at expanding access to modern, cardless payment solutions for businesses and consumers.

Led by Chief Executive Officer Chen Chee Onn, Team Neurogine extended its congratulations to CB Bank Managing Director U Zayar Aung and his team, recognizing their efforts in driving financial inclusion at scale. The company said the milestone highlights the impact of visionary leadership and collaborative innovation in transforming Myanmar’s digital financial landscape.

According to Neurogine, the deployment has enabled thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs across Myanmar to gain seamless access to secure digital payment infrastructure, removing traditional barriers that had previously constrained business growth.

By equipping merchants with advanced cardless payment capabilities, CB Bank, supported by Neurogine’s technology, is helping local businesses participate more actively in the country’s broader financial ecosystem and accelerating the transition toward a digital economy.

Neurogine stated that the success of the initiative is measured not only by the number of merchants onboarded but also by the stability, security, and scalability of the infrastructure supporting the network. The company said surpassing the 80,000-merchant mark validates its commitment to delivering world-class fintech solutions tailored to local market needs.

Neurogine also reaffirmed its commitment to providing CB Bank with continuous optimization, transaction security, and innovative support as the merchant ecosystem continues to expand.

“CB Bank and U Zayar Aung, thank you for trusting Neurogine as your strategic technology partner. We look forward to reaching even greater heights together,” the company said in a statement.

The milestone marks one of the largest cardless digital payment ecosystems in Myanmar and reflects the increasing role of technology partnerships in advancing financial inclusion and empowering small businesses throughout the country.
