Nepal Rastra Bank to Launch Nationwide Financial Customer Satisfaction Survey

Banking NewsNepal Rastra Bank is set to launch the Financial Customer Satisfaction Survey 2083 to assess the level of satisfaction among users of financial services across the country.

According to the central bank, the survey will be conducted in all 77 districts of Nepal, covering every type of local government through a nationwide sampling process. A total of 10,405 samples will be collected using a random sampling method for ward selection.

The survey aims to gather public feedback on the accessibility, quality, and transparency of financial services, as well as complaint handling mechanisms, financial consumer protection, and customers’ overall perceptions and experiences with the country’s financial system.

The NRB said the findings are expected to support improvements in policies, programs, and regulatory frameworks related to financial consumer protection and the quality of financial services.

To ensure the effectiveness and credibility of the survey, the central bank has urged respondents to provide accurate and impartial information. Participation in the survey will be voluntary, and respondents may choose not to answer any question they find uncomfortable.

The bank also stated that all information collected during the survey will remain confidential in accordance with the Statistics Act, 2022 (2079 BS) and will be used solely for aggregated statistical purposes.
