Gold and Silver Prices Rise Again in Domestic Market


Banking News — Gold and silver prices continued their upward trend in Nepal’s domestic market on Friday, with both precious metals recording significant gains compared to the previous trading day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs. 7,200 per tola to reach Rs. 290,700 per tola. Similarly, silver prices rose by Rs. 165 per tola, with the metal trading at Rs. 4,615 per tola.

On Thursday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs. 283,500 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs. 4,450 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is currently trading at USD 4,179 per ounce in the international market, while silver is being traded at USD 62 per ounce.
