Government to Award Certificates to Donors Contributing Over Rs. 10,000 to Reconstruction Fund

Banking News — The Ministry of Finance has announced that individuals and organizations contributing more than Rs. 10,000 to the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund will be awarded certificates of appreciation.

The fund was established by the Government of Nepal to support the reconstruction and repair of damaged government infrastructure, economic recovery, relief distribution, and rehabilitation efforts following the damage caused during the Gen Z movement held on Bhadra 23 and 24.

In a public notice, the ministry said that the certificates, signed by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle on behalf of the Government of Nepal, have already been prepared.

However, the ministry stated that it has been unable to distribute the certificates because the complete addresses and contact numbers of some eligible donors were unavailable.

The Ministry of Finance has therefore requested all individuals and institutions that contributed more than Rs. 10,000 to the reconstruction fund to contact the Logistics (Jinsi) Section of the ministry to collect their certificates.
