Prime Minister Shah Holds Talks with ADB President Masato Kanda


Banking News – Prime Minister Balendra Shah held a courtesy meeting with Masato Kanda, President of the Asian Development Bank, on Tuesday.

The meeting, held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, focused on promoting good governance, advancing economic reforms, and supporting infrastructure development in Nepal, according to Prime Minister Shah’s Press and Research Adviser, Deepa Dahal.

Kanda, who is currently on an official visit to Nepal, also met Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle on Monday.

During the visit, the Government of Nepal and the Asian Development Bank signed a concessional loan agreement worth approximately US$165 million (around Rs. 25 billion) to support development initiatives in the country.
