Banking News – The Nepal Rastra Bank has introduced policy measures aimed at reducing the operating costs of banks and financial institutions through its Monetary Policy for FY 2083/84.

Unveiling the monetary policy on Tuesday, Governor Bishwanath Paudel said the central bank has outlined several measures to help financial institutions lower their operating expenses.
He added that the policy places a strong emphasis on expanding digital payments, with the objective of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs across the banking and financial sector.
