Banking News – Police have arrested a woman who had been convicted in a financial transaction case and sentenced to imprisonment by the court.

The arrested individual has been identified as Janaki Sunar of Bhimdatta Municipality-5, Kanchanpur.

A team from the Kanchanpur District Police Office apprehended Sunar following a court order.

According to police, the Kanchanpur District Court had sentenced her to 1 year, 3 months, and 13 days of imprisonment in connection with a financial transaction case involving a principal amount of NPR 100,000.

She has been taken into custody to serve the court-issued sentence.
