Banking News – Police have arrested three individuals in connection with an armed robbery during which a husband and wife were shot in Sonama Rural Municipality–3, Khakhana village of Mahottari on May 20.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Panch Lal Gole, those arrested are 21-year-old Aparoj Shesh and 24-year-old Shesh Barik, both from Samsi Rural Municipality–6, and Krish Kumar Mestar of Gaushala Municipality–5.

Police said the suspects, along with other members of the robbery group, allegedly attacked the house of local resident Ram Bishwas Yadav while the family was asleep. During the incident, Yadav’s daughter, Kiran Yadav, sustained two gunshot wounds to her leg, while her husband, Ishwar Narayan Yadav, was shot once in his right arm.

The injured couple is currently reported to be in stable condition.

The District Police Office publicly presented the three suspects at a press conference on Monday. Police said a search operation is underway to locate and arrest other suspects who remain at large in connection with the incident.
