Banking News – The Government of Nepal has appointed Maheshwar Bhakta Shrestha as the Executive Chairman of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).

The appointment was approved during the Council of Ministers meeting held on Tuesday. Under the decision, Shrestha will also assume the responsibilities of General Manager, serving in a dual leadership role to oversee the state-owned national carrier.

The government expects the new appointment to strengthen the corporation’s leadership and support the management and operational functions of Nepal Airlines.
