Banking News – Police have arrested two individuals after recovering Rs. 5.59 million in cash for which they allegedly failed to provide a legitimate source.

According to District Police Office, Dolpa, a police team apprehended the suspects during a security check while they were traveling by motorcycle from Dunai towards Chhal.

The arrested individuals have been identified as motorcycle rider Bishnu Lal Rokaya and pillion passenger Bhakti Chandra Rokaya.

Police said the Rs. 5.59 million was seized after the duo failed to verify the source of the money.

Both individuals have been taken into custody, and further investigation into the case is underway.
