Banking News – Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced that the Payment Service Provider (PSP) licence issued to Nepal E Biz Management Pvt. Ltd. has been automatically revoked.

In a public notice, the central bank stated that the company’s licence, which was originally granted on March 1, 2021 (Falgun 18, 2077 BS), has been cancelled in accordance with Section 13(6) of the Payment and Settlement Act, 2019 (2075 BS).

NRB clarified that the revocation took effect automatically under the provisions of the law.

The central bank has also requested customers who have any outstanding transactions related to payment instruments issued by Nepal E Biz Management Pvt. Ltd. to contact the company within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice to settle their pending matters.
