Banking News – Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal held a courtesy meeting with Munu Mahawar, Additional Secretary at India’s Ministry of External Affairs, in Kathmandu on Thursday, where the two sides discussed ways to further strengthen the long-standing and close bilateral relationship between Nepal and India.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation across areas of mutual interest and reinforcing the strong partnership shared by the two neighboring countries.
Earlier in the day, Additional Secretary Mahawar also met with Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai. The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing bilateral cooperation and explored ways to advance the shared agenda in priority sectors.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to Nepal–India’s enduring friendship and multifaceted partnership, while discussing measures to strengthen institutional cooperation and maintain the momentum of high-level engagements and regular bilateral dialogue.
