Banking News – Most districts of Sudurpashchim Province have been experiencing rainfall since Sunday morning, with the highest precipitation recorded at 79.6 mm in Belauri, Kanchanpur, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The Attariya Meteorological Office reported moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms across the province’s mountain, hill and Terai regions. Attariya recorded 12 mm of rainfall, while Belauri in Kanchanpur received the highest rainfall at 79.6 mm.
Officials have warned that rainfall is expected to intensify on Monday, which could raise water levels in rivers and streams, particularly in vulnerable areas.
Residents living near riverbanks have been urged to remain on high alert, as the risk of localized flooding may increase with continued rainfall.
The weather office has also forecast thunderstorms, lightning and moderate to heavy rain across the mountain, hill and Terai regions of Sudurpashchim through Sunday night.
