Banking News – Nepal Police have arrested a 31-year-old man on charges of stealing a scooter from Bhaktapur’s Suryabinayak Municipality, recovering the stolen vehicle during the operation.

The suspect, Maite Sing Syangtan, a resident of Gokarneshwor, Kathmandu, originally from Marin Rural Municipality-4, Sindhuli, was arrested on Saturday by a team from the District Police Range, Bhaktapur.

The arrest followed a complaint filed by the scooter owner, who reported that the vehicle had been stolen from Chukupul, Suryabinayak Municipality-8, on the night of Shrawan 1 (July 17).

During the investigation, police located and arrested Syangtan in Sallaghari, Suryabinayak Municipality-1, and recovered the stolen scooter from his possession.

Police said further investigation into the theft case is underway.
