Banking News – The Government of Nepal has issued a final 35-day notice inviting applications from landless Dalits, landless squatters, and unmanaged settlers in 66 local governments to benefit from the land distribution and settlement regularization programme.

According to a notice issued by the Land Problem Resolution Commission, eligible landless Dalits, landless squatters, and unmanaged settlers must submit their applications within 35 days starting from Shrawan 4 to be considered for land allocation and settlement management.

Applicants are required to complete the prescribed application form and submit it to their respective local governments. They may also file their applications through designated data collectors deployed in their respective wards.

The Commission stated that detailed guidelines and application procedures have already been published by the concerned local governments.

Authorities have urged all eligible beneficiaries to submit their applications along with the required documents within the stipulated deadline. The Commission warned that those who fail to apply within the specified period may not be included in future phases of the programme, describing this as the final opportunity to participate in the land distribution and settlement regularization process.
