Banking News – Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Honda cars in Nepal, has launched a free Airbag Safety Recall campaign to address a potential safety issue affecting the SRS airbag inflators in selected older Honda vehicle models.

The company said customer safety remains its top priority and urged owners of affected vehicles to have their cars inspected under the nationwide recall programme.

The campaign covers Honda vehicles manufactured between 2001 and 2014, including the following models:

• Honda City
• Honda Civic
• Honda CR-V
• Honda Jazz
• Honda Insight
• Honda Stream
• Honda Accord

Customers can check whether their vehicle is included in the recall by visiting Honda’s official recall website and verifying their vehicle details.

Under the campaign, inspection of the airbag system and, if required, repair or replacement of the SRS airbag inflator will be carried out completely free of charge.

Syakar Trading has encouraged all owners of eligible Honda vehicles to contact their nearest authorized Honda service centre to arrange an inspection and complete any necessary repairs, helping ensure safer driving and reducing potential safety risks.
