Banking News – Gold and silver prices rose sharply in the Nepali market on Wednesday, with gold recording a significant increase of Rs. 5,400 per tola compared to the previous trading day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs. 291,000 per tola, while silver is trading at Rs. 4,480 per tola.

On Tuesday, fine gold was priced at Rs. 285,600 per tola, and silver was traded at Rs. 4,370 per tola.

The latest revision reflects a Rs. 5,400 increase in gold prices and a Rs. 110 rise in silver prices within a single trading session.

In the international market, media reports indicate that gold is trading at approximately USD 4,139 per ounce, while silver is quoted at around USD 59 per ounce.
