Banking News – Nepal Police have recovered 11 muzzle-loading firearms hidden inside a forest in Bangalachuli Rural Municipality-8, Dang, following a tip-off.

According to police, the firearms were discovered on Wednesday at around 9:00 AM in the Ghoralbhir (Pipli Forest) area after a team from Rampur Police Post, led by an Assistant Sub-Inspector, conducted a search operation based on confidential information.

During the operation, officers found 11 muzzle-loading firearms concealed inside dense bushes. Among them, one firearm was found to be inoperable, while 10 were operational but unloaded.

Police have seized all the recovered firearms and launched a further investigation to determine their ownership, origin, and intended use.
