Banking News – The Kaski District Police Office, under its ongoing ‘Operation 365’ campaign, has taken 18 modified motorcycles into custody for causing excessive noise pollution through unauthorized vehicle modifications.

According to police, the motorcycles were seized during inspection drives conducted at various locations across Pokhara Metropolitan City, and legal proceedings have been initiated against the owners in accordance with prevailing laws.
Police said a team from the Baidam Police Office impounded 11 motorcycles from the Lakeside, Damside, Birauta, and Chhorepatan areas.
Similarly, another team from the Bagar Police Office seized seven motorcycles during inspections carried out around the Baglung Bus Park and Hari Chowk areas.
The police further stated that, since the launch of Operation 365, a total of 740 vehicles and 36 individuals have been taken into custody and subjected to legal action as part of the campaign aimed at maintaining public safety, law enforcement, and traffic discipline.
