Banking News – Police have arrested a 40-year-old man in Panchthar District after recovering a homemade firearm and ammunition from his possession.

The arrested individual has been identified as Chok Kumar Sherma, a resident of Gauri Village, Ward No. 2 of Kummayak Rural Municipality.

According to police, a team deployed from the Mangjabung Police Post apprehended Sherma on Thursday morning after finding him in possession of one homemade firearm and four rounds of pellet ammunition.

Police said that further investigation into the case is underway.
