Banking News – The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has issued an internal directive introducing stricter procedures for the appointment and management of personal secretaries for its federal lawmakers.

The party said the directive is aimed at ensuring the effective and accountable use of state-funded facilities while making the appointment process more transparent, cost-efficient, and publicly accountable.

According to the directive issued by RSP General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya, lawmakers must prioritize candidates outside their family or close relatives and select individuals with strong technological skills, research capabilities, and a demonstrated commitment to the party’s principles and values.

The directive also emphasizes inclusiveness, requires that candidates not receive overlapping government benefits or have conflicts of interest, and calls for the selection, appointment, and approval process to be competitive and merit-based.

Under the new rules, once a qualified candidate has been selected, final approval from the RSP Parliamentary Party is mandatory before the appointment can be made.

The party further instructed all of its lawmakers to uphold high ethical standards and demonstrate strong public accountability in carrying out their responsibilities.
