Banking News – Nepal Police has arrested five individuals on charges of illegally manufacturing and distributing Ayurvedic medicines.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Ram Prasad Pokhrel of Pyuthan, Aitman Tamling Limbu and Ujwal Limbu of Taplejung, Sandip Maharjan of Lalitpur, and Gokarna Aryal of Nuwakot.

According to police, a team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku, apprehended the suspects from various locations across Kathmandu on Wednesday.

During the operation, police seized a range of Ayurvedic products, including Silver 6 Warm Therapy Oil, Nutmeg Mixed Oil, Aloe Vera Skin Serum, Golden XXX Commando Power Capsules, and several other herbal medicines allegedly being produced and sold illegally.

The suspects have been handed over to the Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection for further investigation and legal action.
