Banking News – Police have arrested four individuals for allegedly robbing a victim of Rs. 384,000 by luring them with the promise of exchanging US dollars.

According to police, the suspects deceived the victim by offering to exchange foreign currency before stealing the cash amounting to Rs. 384,000 during the transaction.

The accused were taken into custody following an investigation, and police have recovered evidence related to the incident. Authorities are continuing further investigation to determine whether the group was involved in similar fraud and robbery cases.

Police have urged the public to exercise caution while engaging in foreign currency exchange transactions and to conduct such exchanges only through authorized financial institutions and licensed money exchangers.
