Banking News – Nepal Police has directed 11 police personnel who have been absent from duty for an extended period to report to their respective offices within seven days.

According to a public notice issued by the Law and Human Rights Division under the Office of the Inspector General of Police, the personnel have been instructed to resume duty within the stipulated period or face disciplinary action.

Those listed in the notice include Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Tirth Bahadur Budha of the Investigation, Planning and Development Branch, Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari, and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Durgaraj Malla of the Area Police Office, Lekbeshi, Surkhet.

The notice also names Police Constables Nageshwar Yadav, Subodh Prasad Patel, Dev Krishna Raut, Jayanti Thapa Magar, Sanjay Pariyar, Gita Medasi, Raj Kumar Rawat, and Dhruv Raj Padhya, as well as Police Office Assistant Suresh Kumal, as being absent without authorization.

Nepal Police warned that failure to report within the specified seven-day period could result in dismissal from service under Rule 109, Clause (b)(1) in connection with Rule 113(1)(c) of the Nepal Police Regulations, 2071.

The notice states that the directive has been issued to provide the concerned personnel with an opportunity to present their explanation before any disciplinary action is taken.
