Lock-in Period for 71,100 Ridge Line Energy Shares to Expire on August 30


Banking News – The lock-in period for 71,100 shares of Ridge Line Energy Limited will expire on August 30, 2026 (Bhadra 13, 2083).

The shares are owned by a Mutual Fund, and their lock-in period is ending in accordance with the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) regulations governing securities allotted through Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).

Under SEBON’s provisions, if a Mutual Fund’s remaining scheme tenure is less than six months, the lock-in period for securities received through an IPO remains valid for only six months from the date of allotment.

Accordingly, the 71,100 shares held by the Mutual Fund in Ridge Line Energy Limited will become eligible for trading once the lock-in period expires.

The expiry of the lock-in period allows the concerned Mutual Fund to sell or otherwise trade the shares in the secondary market, subject to prevailing market regulations.
