Banking News – The Transport Management Service Office, Biratnagar, collected a total revenue of Rs. 489.83 million during fiscal year 2082/83 (2025/26).

According to Information Officer Lekh Prasad Acharya, the office generated Rs. 11.43 million from route permits, Rs. 7.55 million from other service fees, Rs. 128,300 from business registration fees, Rs. 85.33 million from driver’s licence issuance, Rs. 103,100 from fines, penalties, and confiscations, and Rs. 385.28 million from vehicle tax collection.

The figures highlight the office’s significant contribution to government revenue through transport administration, licensing services, and vehicle taxation during the fiscal year.
