Banking News – Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Waglé has said that Prime Minister Balendra Shah is taking special and adequate initiatives to resolve the recent incident in Sunsari and restore normalcy in the district.

Speaking on behalf of the government at an all-party meeting convened by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Vice Chairman Dr. Swarnim Waglé at Singha Durbar on Wednesday morning, the Finance Minister said the Prime Minister has been actively coordinating efforts to address the situation that has remained tense in recent days.

He stated that the Prime Minister is taking the tragic incident in Sunsari and its aftermath very seriously, with a strong focus on maintaining social harmony, strengthening security arrangements, providing compensation to the victims’ families, and ensuring proper medical treatment for the injured.

“The Prime Minister is deeply concerned about maintaining social harmony in Sunsari, ensuring effective security measures, providing compensation to the victims’ families, and arranging treatment for those injured. Under his coordination, the government has been taking adequate initiatives. The government also views the efforts made by political parties positively,” the Finance Minister said during the meeting.

Dr. Waglé further informed political leaders that the government is continuing to coordinate with all concerned stakeholders to normalize the situation and reinforce public security. He added that the issues raised during the all-party meeting would be conveyed to the Prime Minister and stressed that a collective effort from all sides is essential to reach a shared solution.
