Police Seize Unbilled Mobile Phones and Accessories Worth Over Rs. 1.07 Million in Dang


Banking News – Police have seized mobile phones and mobile accessories worth approximately Rs. 1.075 million without valid invoices during a routine vehicle inspection in Dang.

According to police, a team from the Bhaluwang Area Police Office recovered the unbilled items while conducting regular inspections of vehicles along the East-West Highway at Pulchowk, Rapti Rural Municipality-1.

The seized goods include 228 Android mobile displays, three Android mobile batteries, and one unit each of an iPhone 16, iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and iPhone 11.

Police estimated the value of the confiscated items at Rs. 1.075 million, including Rs. 684,000 for the Android displays, Rs. 6,000 for the three batteries, Rs. 180,000 for the iPhone 16, Rs. 75,000 for the iPhone 13, Rs. 70,000 for the iPhone 12, and Rs. 60,000 for the iPhone 11.

The confiscated mobile phones and accessories are being handed over to the Krishnanagar Customs Office in Kapilvastu for further investigation and legal action.
