Banking News – Police have arrested four individuals for allegedly luring young children and robbing them of their gold earrings in the Balaju area of Kathmandu.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Deepak Chhetri and Dharmendra Darji from Kalikot, James Nepali from Dang, and Bishnu Chhetri from Sindhupalchok.

According to police, a team from the Balaju Police Circle launched an operation after receiving information that the group had been luring children and intimidating members of the public before stealing gold earrings.

Police recovered four stolen gold earrings from the suspects during the operation.

The four have been taken into custody, and an investigation is underway under charges related to theft and robbery. Police said they have obtained a seven-day remand from the Kathmandu District Court to continue the investigation.
