Prime Minister Shah Holds Discussions with Lawmakers Representing Tarai-Madhesh


Banking News – Prime Minister Balendra Shah has begun consultations with lawmakers representing the Tarai and Madhesh regions to discuss the recent developments and the evolving security situation in the area.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting, held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, is focused on the recent incidents in the Tarai-Madhesh region and the circumstances arising from them.

The discussion is being attended by lawmakers Rahbar Ansari, Nitima Bhandari (Karki), Rabindra Patel, Manish Jha, Rabin Mahato, Rajkishor Mahato, Ganesh Dhimal, Chandan Singh, Bikram Thapa, Mohanlal Acharya, and Gajala Shamim Mikarani, among others.

The Prime Minister is expected to hear lawmakers’ views and recommendations on the situation in the affected areas, including issues related to peace and security, social harmony, and measures needed to resolve the ongoing concerns.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Shah also held separate consultations with leaders of various Madhesh-centric political parties. The series of meetings is aimed at demonstrating the government’s serious commitment to addressing the situation and restoring peace and stability following the recent incidents.
