Nepal Consulate General in UAE Engages Nepali Community to Enhance Consular Services

Banking News – The Consulate General of Nepal in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has organized an interaction program with representatives of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), the Nepali community, and various Nepali organizations as it approaches the completion of its first year of operations.

According to the Consulate General, the discussion focused on improving service delivery, including passport and consular services, the protection of migrant workers’ rights, emergency assistance, and other issues affecting the Nepali community in the UAE.

Participants shared a range of recommendations aimed at making consular services more efficient, accessible, and community-friendly. The Consulate General welcomed the suggestions, expressed appreciation to all participants, and reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Nepali community to further improve service delivery in the coming years.

Participants also commended the proactive leadership of the Consul General, noting that the office has significantly strengthened coordination and communication with the Nepali community during its nearly one year of operation.

The Consulate General currently provides a range of essential services, including passport renewal, issuance of travel permits, document authentication, labour-related assistance, and emergency consular support for Nepali nationals residing in the UAE.
