Banking News – A shortage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in various parts of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan, has left consumers struggling to secure cooking gas, with many forced to wait in long queues carrying empty cylinders.

According to consumers, gas distribution centers have been witnessing heavy crowds since early morning, while some households have reportedly had to wait up to a week to receive a single LPG cylinder due to irregular supplies.

Residents say the supply disruption has affected their daily household activities, as many customers return home empty-handed despite standing in line for hours after receiving information that gas stocks had arrived.

Consumers have also raised concerns over the possibility of an artificial supply shortage, urging the concerned authorities to strengthen market monitoring and ensure a smooth and uninterrupted LPG supply across the district.

With demand continuing to outpace available stock, crowds at gas distribution centers in Bharatpur have increased significantly, prompting consumers to call on the government and relevant agencies to take immediate measures to normalize the supply of cooking gas.
