Banking News – Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle held discussions with representatives of 20 major multinational companies that have invested in Nepal. The meeting was held on Monday afternoon at the Suvarna Hall of the Ministry of Finance as part of the series of discussions on the implementation of the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84.

Senior foreign and domestic partners of the 20 major taxpayer multinational companies operating in Nepal participated in the discussion. According to the Finance Minister’s Secretariat, the discussions covered facilities provided by the budget, problems faced by the companies, expansion of investment in Nepal, job creation, issues related to repatriating investment returns, and the facilitation required from the government.
