Banking News – Nepal’s stock market closed slightly lower this week, with the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declining by around 7 points over the five trading sessions. Total share trading turnover during the week stood at approximately Rs. 17 billion.
The market declined on two trading days, while the remaining three sessions recorded marginal gains. On the first trading day of the week, the NEPSE index fell 9.02 points to close at 2,641.60 points.

On the second trading day, the index gained 0.69 points to close at 2,641.40 points. On the third trading day, NEPSE edged up 0.55 points to reach 2,642.40 points.
The market continued its upward movement on Thursday, gaining 8.81 points to close at 2,651.21 points. However, the index declined again on the final trading day, Friday, falling 7.37 points to close at 2,643.83 points.
