Banking News – Police have arrested a man accused of stealing silver, copper and brass ornaments and other valuables from a house in Lalitpur.

According to police, a team deployed from the Satdobato Police Circle arrested Anil Khadgi of Kathmandu based on information that he had fled after stealing various valuables from the house of Prakash Tamrakar in Sanagaun.

Police recovered several items from Khadgi’s possession, including a copper filter, jug, oil lamp, kalash, Panchamala, Ashtamandal, brass ladle, silver-colored tika container and anklets, statues made of various metals, a watch, a gold-colored chain and bracelet, a pote necklace and clothes.

Khadgi has been charged with theft, and the Lalitpur District Court has granted five days’ custody for further investigation. Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
