Banking News – Vaidya’s Energy Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Ather Energy in Nepal, has received more than 500 bookings for electric scooters during the six-day NADA Mobility Expo 2026. The company said visitors showed strong interest in Ather’s latest electric scooters, technology and ownership-focused service ecosystem showcased at the expo.
According to the company, the achievement was driven not only by promotional offers but also by its continued investment in battery reliability, after-sales service, charging infrastructure and user-friendly technology. Ather Nepal said it has prioritized its ‘Ather Assurance’ initiative to provide customers with a seamless ownership experience even after purchasing an electric scooter.

Under its ‘Eight70 Warranty’, Ather provides an eight-year or 80,000-kilometer warranty on the battery. Subject to applicable terms and conditions, the warranty also ensures that the battery maintains at least 70 percent health, the company said. The initiative is aimed at addressing customers’ concerns about long-term battery reliability when purchasing electric vehicles.
Ather Nepal currently has more than 10 authorized service centers and over 50 fast-charging grid locations across the country. The company said the growing charging and service network provides customers with greater access to essential services after purchasing an electric scooter.
The company added that customer responses at the NADA Expo indicate that buyers are becoming increasingly conscious not only of the price and features of electric scooters but also of the overall ownership ecosystem and long-term services associated with them.
The Ather 450 Overtone Series, unveiled at the expo, also attracted significant attention from visitors. According to the company, technologies such as Magic Twist, Infinite Cruise and Voice on Ather offered visitors a new riding experience. Magic Twist enables regenerative braking control, Infinite Cruise is designed to make long-distance rides more convenient, while Voice on Ather provides voice-based interaction and connected technology features.
Alongside the Overtone Series, the Ather 450 Series and Rizta family of scooters offered customers a range of options suited to performance, comfort and everyday urban mobility needs, the company said.
Ather Nepal views the more than 500 bookings received at the NADA Mobility Expo not merely as a sales achievement but as an indication of growing confidence in electric mobility in Nepal and customer trust in the ownership ecosystem being developed by the company.
The company said it remains committed to making Nepal’s transition to electric mobility more reliable, convenient and user-friendly by continuing to focus on technology, charging networks, service infrastructure and long-term battery assurance.
